Alors que les USA se préparent à rendre l’avortement illégal, un retour en arrière qui tuera les femmes, en particulier les moins aisées, la France célèbre une femme, étrangère, noire, de gauche qui aura participé à la Libération de la Femme et à celle de la de la France.
Après Simone Veil, ouvrir la reconnaissance nationale à Joséphine Baker, montre le fossé qui se creuse entre l’Europe et les USA. Et ce n’est pas, pour les US, un sujet de réjouissance.
As the USA prepares to make abortion illegal, a step backwards that will kill women, especially the less well-off, France celebrates a woman, of foreign origin, black, left-leaning woman who participated in the Liberation of Women and was par the the French Resistance against Nazis during WWII.
