Un grand merci au garage Pierre qui héberge la dépose et bientôt la greffe d’un nouveau moteur.

Phase 2
Eric a cherché et trouvé un moteur reconstruit pour remplacer le moteur défaillant déposé dans la Phase 1. Une balade vers Lille pour évaluer et acheter le remplaçant.
Eric searched for and found a rebuilt engine to replace the faulty engine that had been removed in Phase 1. A trip to Lille to evaluate and buy the replacement.
Le moteur défaillant se voit retirer les pièces qui ne seront pas fournies avec le moteur de remplacement.
The faulty engine is being stripped of parts that will not be supplied with the replacement engine.
Après essais et remontage des pièces, le moteur reconstruit se prépare pour son voyage de retour.
Il sera monté en début de semaine.
After testing and reassembling the parts, the rebuilt engine is getting ready for its return journey. It will be put back at the beginning of the week.
Le moteur est chargé dans l’auto, reste à revenir en région parisienne où sera engagée la Phase 3, le remontage.
The engine is loaded into the car, and we still have to get back to the Paris region, where Phase 3 and reassembly will be carried out.
Séquence 3
22 juillet 2026
Le moteur acheté samedi est positionné et fixé sur sa boîte de vitesses.
The engine purchased on Saturday is positioned and bolted to its gearbox.
Le moteur est monté, il fonctionne, il reste à installer et reconnecter l’ensemble des accessoires.
The engine is assembled, it works, all that remains is to install and reconnect all the accessories.
Reste à terminer la Job comme on dit au Québec. Eric mérite désormais le glorieux titre d’apprenti avec expérience. Sa nouvelle carrière chez Canadian Tire est toute tracée.
Cela dit, Eric est désormais parfaitement qualifié, sa 2CV roule.
It remains to complete the Job as they say in Quebec. Eric now deserves the glorious title of apprentice with experience. His new career at Canadian Tire is all mapped out.
That said, Eric is now perfectly qualified; his 2CV drives.
