Il y a fort longtemps, Guy Bedos et Sophie Daumier nous avaient présenté une vision joyeuse des voyages en terre exotique. Il m’est impossible de résister à l’obligation morale de vous le faire revoir.
Vrai, Marrakech et la Nouvelle-Orléans n’ont pas grand-chose en commun, et pourtant…
A long time ago, two stand up comedians, in the early sixties, Guy Bedos and Sophie Daumier, offered us with a joyful vision of journeys in exotic lands. Even though it is in French, It is impossible for me to resist the moral obligation to introduce it to you.
True, Marrakech and New Orleans don’t have much in common, and yet…
Après un court voyage de 1300 km en auto, voir l’article précédent, nous avons rejoint notre hôtel dans le cœur du « Quartier Français ». Luxueusement raisonnable et surtout acceptant chien(s) et voitures.
Surprise, ces deux dernières options sont payantes, à elles seules, elles auront quasiment doublé la note.
After a short trip of 830 miles by car, see the previous article, we reached our hotel in the heart of the « French Quarter ». Luxuriously reasonable and especially accepting dog(s) and cars.
Surprise, these last two options are paying, alone, they will have almost doubled the final bottom line.
Nous n’avons pas été gâté par la météo, une vraie vague de froid polaire couvre une belle moitié des US, sans oblier le Nord du Golf du Mexique. Donc un petit 5° pour entamer les balades.
Architecture conforme aux attentes, heureusement les réseaux télécom et électriques sont enterrés, cela change un peu du fouillis habituel des villes US et leurs réseaux aériens.
Donc en fait rien de particulier à montrer, les images disponibles sur l’Internet sont, à la fois, mieux cadrées et exposées que les miennes. Donc un petit diaporama pour éviter des remarques désobligeantes.
