À la manière de Proust, c’est tellement agréable de se vanter, je me suis souvent demandé lequel des trois mots suivants décrivait le mieux les politiques, tant intérieures qu’extérieures, des États-Unis : stupidité, mauvaise foi ou juste un analphabétisme assumé.

Stupidité
Lors de la réflexion stratégique qui doit mesurer les risques et bénéfices du déclenchement d’une action militaire, ignorer les atouts de l’adversaire est pire qu’un crime, c’est une faute. Bien que la nature des forces en présence donne un avantage évident aux forces armées des USA, dans le cadre d’un conflit asymétrique, le faible dispose lui aussi d’atouts non négligeables, atouts que le fort ne pourra contrer.
Le complexe de supériorité du gouvernement US, l’ignorance volontaire de conseils dissonants auront créé les conditions d’un renversement de situation, le faible sort vainqueur sans pour autant avoir vaincu, du point de vue militaire, le fort.
Stupidity
In the strategic thinking that must measure the risks and benefits of triggering military action, ignoring the strengths of the adversary is worse than a crime; it is a mistake. Although the nature of the forces involved gives an obvious advantage to the US armed forces, in an asymmetrical conflict, the weak also has significant advantages that the strong will not be able to counter.
The superiority complex of the US government, the willful ignorance of dissonant advice will have created the conditions for a reversal of the situation. The weak wins without militarily defeating the powerful.
La Mauvaise Foi
La communication de l’évolution d’un conflit est toujours empreinte de mauvaise foi, toujours. Les pertes sont minimisées, les gains maximisés. Si les objectifs annoncés initialement ne sont, à l’évidence, pas atteints, il suffit de les requalifier.
Le conflit avec l’Iran offre de nombreux exemples.
- Il y a un an, le bombardement des sites de production d’Uranium les avait totalement détruits. Un an plus tard, on relance le conflit pour les mêmes motifs.
- Afin de libérer l’Iran d’une dictature théocratique et provoquer un changement de régime, on tente d’éliminer les structures de commandement politique, puis on s’accommode des successeurs pour négocier avec eux.
Bad Faith
Communication about the evolution of a conflict is always marked by bad faith. Losses are minimized, gains are maximized. If the objectives initially announced are clearly not achieved, it is sufficient to reclassify them.
The conflict with Iran offers many examples.
- A year ago, the bombing of uranium production sites had completely destroyed them. A year later, the conflict is being revived for the same reasons.
- In order to liberate Iran from a theocratic dictatorship and bring about regime change, attempts are made to eliminate political command structures and then accommodate successors to negotiate with them.
Ignorance / Inculture / Analphabétisme
Le 14 juillet 2015, après plus de deux années de négociations menées par de véritables experts, six nations et l’U.E. signent un accord, le JCPOA. Celui-ci garantit que l’Iran ne se dotera pas de l’arme nucléaire et ne mènera aucune recherche sur ce sujet pour les quinze prochaines années, des mécanismes de contrôle sévères sont mis en place et acceptés par l’Iran.
En contrepartie de cet accord, les sanctions économiques sont levées, l’Iran peut enfin reprendre sa place dans le commerce international. Souvenons-nous que c’est la crise économique et le désir des peuples de rejoindre une société libre, peuples enfermés derrière le Rideau de Fer, qui auront fait chuter l’URSS.
En 2018, Trump, à l’égal de Ceaușescu, le Danube de la Pensée, dénonce cet accord, non pas sur la base d’une négociation boîteuse, mais simplement au motif que l’accord a été signé par Obama. Si cet accord était vicié car issu d’une administration incapable, pourquoi aurait-il été signé par la Chine, la France, l’Allemagne, la Russie, le Royaume Uni et l’U.E. ?
Ignorance / Inculture / Illiteracy

Dans mon introduction, je m’interrogeais pour savoir, parmi les trois qualificatifs suivants, stupidité, mauvaise foi, analphabétisme, lequel surclassait les autres.
Une inégalité permet de trier les éléments, elle peut s’écrire sous la forme suivante :
A > B > C
Dans ce cas, A contient la plus forte valeur, B est plus petit que A mais plus grand que C qui contient la plus petite valeur. Personnellement, je me perds en conjectures.
