Tautologie
Le Larousse en ligne donne du mot tautologie la définition suivante :
nom féminin
(bas latin tautologia, du grec tautologia)
Négligence de style ou procédé rhétorique consistant à répéter la même idée en termes différents, soit dans la même proposition (J’en porte la responsabilité pleine et entière), soit dans deux propositions voisines (Étant en effet Boubouroche, Boubouroche déclara qu’il était Boubouroche [Courteline]).

Statement that is true by virtue of its logical form alone.
A logical combination of sentences that is always true, regardless of the truth or falsity of the constituent sentences, is known as a « tautology. »
To this academic definition, I wish to add that it is a way to turn a falsehood into a pseudo truth by repeating it over and over again.
Pinocchio’s « Stop the Steal » statement is a tautological form of rethoric.
Avec l’ami André qui me fait le plaisir de parfois commenter ma prose, heureusement il n’est pas le seul à s’y atteler, parfois nous échangeons par téléphone sur des sujets divers. Et dernièrement il m’a suggéré un livre qui lui avait particulièrement plu :

Ce livre relate enfin la vie de Yeshoua, Jésus en version latine, non pas sous l’angle convenu et imposé par la chrétienté via les Evangiles depuis près de 2000 ans mais en adoptant une approche telle qu’un journaliste pouvait le faire.
With the friend André who gives me the pleasure to sometimes comment on my prose, fortunately he is not the only one to tackle it, sometimes we exchange by phone on various subjects. And recently he suggested a book that he particularly liked:
« The Bastard of Nazareth »
This book finally relates the life of Yeshua, Jesus in the Latin version, not from the angle agreed and imposed by Christianity via the Gospels for nearly 2000 years but by adopting an approach such as a journalist could do. Unfortunately the book is not currently available in English.
Ce livre jouissif relate de façon profane le récit qu’un journaliste juif agnostic contemporain de Jésus pouvait faire de sa vie au quotidien.
Ce changement de perspective offre un regard décapant sur les us et coutumes de l’époque, déconstruit les mythes inlassablement répétés, la virginité de Marie, la fourberie de Judas, le caractère de Jésus, sa fratrie car il n’était pas fils unique, les miracles des pains, de la marche sur l’eau et bien d’autres mythes se retrouvent enfin dans un récit rationnel exprimé dans un langage moderne.
Cerise sur le gâteau, au dos de la dernière page, la narration du livre est validée par des docteurs chrétiens en théologie.

Tout d’abord l’enveloppe.
André fait imprimer ses propres timbres, oui c’est possible et parfaitement légal. Vous noterez que si la Statue de la Liberté est centrale, elle nous tourne le dos, peu satisfaite du traitement que nous faisons subir à la démocratie : montée des fascismes en Europe et aux USA, guerre infâme que la Russie mène contre l’Ukraine.
Following our exchanges, André sent me a letter that I cannot resist sharing with you.
First of all, the envelope.
André has his own stamps printed, yes it is possible and perfectly legal. You will note that if the Statue of Liberty is central, it turns its back on us, dissatisfied with the treatment we are giving democracy: the rise of fascism in Europe and the USA, the infamous war that Russia is waging against Ukraine.
Finally, opposite the stamp, an insert that reproduces one of the frescoes of the Church of Saint Sauveur in Chora of Istambul.
